Chinese Lantern Lily/Christmas Bells (Sandersonia aurantiaca) have eye-catching blooms that add a touch of whimsy to a late spring/early summer garden. Orange/yellow delicate flowers cover the plant with thimble-sized bells, highlighting other colors in the garden with its harmonious nature. Easy-to-grow and deer resistant, they make great cut flowers, lasting up to three weeks. Hardy in zones 9-10, grow as an annual in colder areas.

Sandersonia is a wispy climbing plant that produces unique, lantern-shaped blooms that are hugely sought after in Asia for cut flower arrangements.
